Building on the discussions of previous encounters, this part of the program looks to position the school as a driver to rethink architectural education as an integrated set of forms and modes of knowledge focused on collaboration and cocreation. The activities center the notion of a safe space within a culture of relatability, harnessing multidisciplinarity, hospitality, and mentorship-over-professorship, while honoring contextual legacy and empowering transgenerational transmission of knowledge and forms of embodied learning.
Contributors will reflect on the programmatic outlines and architectures of educational contexts to shape novel agendas and methodologies that reimagine pedagogical roles, integrate critical, emotional, and experiential knowledge, and bring renewed relevance to architecture as both a spatial and cultural practice of purpose and collective care.
