Elena Dellapiana is an architect and full professor of Architecture and Design History in the Department of Architecture & Design at the Politecnico di Torino (IT). She is a scholar of architecture, town and design history of the nineteenth and twentieth century.

Francesca Picchi is an architect, an independent curator and professional journalist based in Milan (IT). She is professor of Design History at ISIA, in Florence. For sixteen years she was on the editorial staff of Domus.
