Eyal Weizman, director of Forensic Architecture, investigates links between violence, conflict, and the environment, producing evidence of state crimes and human rights violations, including work since 2023 for the International Court of Justice genocide case against Israel.

In Ungrounding, he maps Gaza’s terrain. From tunnels to militarised landscapes, documenting campaigns of displacement and destruction. Placing them in historical context from the Nakba to today, he argues that spatial and architectural analysis reveals patterns of control and that post–7 October actions escalated to what he defines as genocide.

Weizman will be in conversation with Selma Dabbagh, with an introduction by Equator, a magazine of politics, culture and art.
