The "Startup Architecture: Venture as a New Mode of Practice" symposium takes place on 17 September 2025, and is hosted by the Institute of Technology in Architecture, ETH Zürich, Switzerland. This is the first of its kind symposium that brings the topic of entrepreneurship in architecture to the forefront.

The symposium brings together researchers, architects, founders, and investors to discuss the growing phenomenon of architects founding startups.

The symposium is chaired by Prof. Benjamin Dillenburger and Dr. Gilles Retsin, with keynote speakers Prof. Georg Vrachliotis, Karel van Eechoud, Prof. Silke Langenberg, Dr. Ryan Luke Johns.
