From the Zip-Up House and the Pompidou Centre, to Lloyd's of London and the Millennium Dome, Talking Buildings paints a vivid and immersive portrait of an architect who never stopped developing his social, environmental, ethical and political passions, and for whom buildings were the physical manifestation of his beliefs. This exhibition, curated and designed by Richard’s son Ab, presents his work in an inclusive and engaging way, deconstructing a carefully curated selection of his work through accessible large format drawings, models and moving imagery. Two specially commissioned films by Marina Willer will showcase Rogers’ perspectives on the selected projects, accompanied by exhibition graphics by Graphic Thought Facility.

The exhibition is accompanied by a specially commissioned installation in the Foyle Space by RSHP (formerly Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners) - RSHP Architects in Dialogue - displaying projects past, present and future, and their influence on modern architecture and urban design in London and globally.
