ETH Zurich will host the fourth cohort of the Holcim Foundation Fellowship in Brussels from September 1st-12th, 2025.
Designed by station+, the two-week course “Designing Incentives for Change” will take place in Brussels. Open to students enrolled at universities across Europe, this fellowship enables participants to collaborate with lecturers, tutors, and industry partners working in the field of adaptive reuse—the renovation and transformation of existing buildings rather than their demolition and reconstruction.
Applications are open to those in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Historic Preservation, Structural/Civil/Construction Engineering and Real Estate Development - at any university in Europe. The candidate must be a current final year Masters student (who will finish their studies no later than the 31st of October 2025) or a recent Masters graduate (who graduated no sooner than the 1st of January 2023).
The tuition, accommodation and travel to and from this two week Fellowship are covered by the Holcim Foundation, allowing all selected Fellows to focus on having a valuable experience.
Deadline for applications is May 19, 2025. To apply, visit the Holcim Foundation website.
