HouseEurope! at Domus Academy is an ongoing set of workshops developed by Fosbury Architecture where KoozArch was invited to curate a series of lectures and site visits. The series specifically focused on exploring the interconnections between soil consumption, urban regeneration, and sustainable building practices from Milan to Europe through the voices of practitioners from the fields of architecture, paleontology, policy and soil sciences. On the other hand, site visits included the visiting of exemplary adaptive reuse projects as the student housing project of Aparto by Park as well as exploring case studies as those of Fondazione Prada, ICA and Villa Clea.

Speakers include: Mark Williams, Domenico Finiguerra, Oana Bogdan (&bogdan), An Fonteyne (noAarchitecten), Matteo Robiglio (Homes4all), Benjamin Andrade, Daniel Bell (Atelier LUMA), Ginevra D’Agostino (Liminal), La Rivoluzione delle Seppie, Elephant, AMUNT, Thomas Emenegger (Fondazione Olinda), Federico Pompignoli (OMA), Alberto Salvadori (Fondazione ICA), Matteo Corbellini (Villa Clea).

The programme culminated with a lecture by Olaf Grawert, co-founder of HouseEurope!, and an open debate, moderated by KoozArch founder Federica Zambeletti, with Nicola Russi (architect and founder of Laboratorio Permanente), Giancarlo Tancredi (City of Milan’s Urban Regeneration Councillor) and Ann Tuteur (Senior Advisor at Maroni & Associati).
