Installed within the historic San Bastiaun Chapel in Zuoz, Switzerland, this work explores themes of resilience, transformation, and identity, drawing on Biblical narratives, urban culture, and references to Tina Turner’s journey of self-reinvention. Some key elements of the installation are the storefront-inspired structures and Barrington’s ‘The Rose That Grew From Concrete’ series. This work reflects on the capacity for beauty and strength to emerge from challenging circumstances. Also included is ‘Anita and Joan’ by Teresa Farrell, which reinterprets classical iconography to examine the interplay of history, grace, and the passage of time.
