The project creates participatory practices to give asylum seekers the spatial agency to be host, as an empowerment tool while living in temporary structures far from home. The focus is on the creation of a policy to transform the surveillance areas of the centres into collective spaces where residents can be host and not only hosted and where to introduce business opportunities for them to work, right denied to them within the current system. The proposal comes to life with illustrations that represent scenarios developed together with the asylum seekers to show how the architectural drawing is no longer exclusively about spatial configurations, but includes traces and objects of everyday use patterns.
