Themeland Creation
Tilmann Heider & Vinzenz Stadler

The drawing is inspired by the story of Fantasia, which was written by Michael Ende. Tilmann Heider and Vinzenz Stadler studied the legacy of theme parks, from Coney Island to World Fairs, with a focus on Disneyland and Disneyfication as a case study. The goal was to design a new park for rationality and fantasy from the original story.

“We want to welcome you to our Themeland Creation.
Leave the hyperreal spaces of simulation in the past
and step into the real present.
You may also have to examine the technology
and the cardboard more closely to better understand your reality.
But be warned! The journey may take forever.”

The project has been developed within the context of the Institut für Architekturtheorie und Baugeschichte Universität Innsbruck.
