The question of what is necessary and sufficient is surprisingly relevant yet often unnoticed, as we encounter and respond to it daily. How much coffee do we need to feel energised, or how many bathrooms are required in a house? The necessary represents the minimal amount of good essentials for our existence. Within this framework, the project reflects on the notion of simplicity in art and architecture and the value of honest expression, sentimentality, and poetics.
