Lagoons and saltworks at Rye Harbour intends to serve as a prototype for local construction at coastal intersections to manage soil salinity and preserve the landscape. Salt is harvested naturally from brine, via evaporation on blackthorn twigs. Building typologies shift inland over time in response to the rising sea level.
