The relationship between historical sites and climate collapse is profound and impartial, impacting all sites equally. In Istanbul, with its seven hills and rich heritage, we see a deep link between water scarcity and the city's socio-cultural identity. This exploration challenges the commodification of heritage sites and further explores the different capacities of landscapes with surface and subterranean relationships that bridge the gap between the visible and invisible and the tangible and intangible. The project's diverse landscapes act as catalysts for heritage sites and their surroundings, fostering a shared cultural identity and a collective commitment to addressing climate change, thereby creating a path toward a sustainable future.
