A stratification of housing has come to define the city, inherently placing the construction of shelters on eroding foundations. Transitory living is sneered at, while it becomes the reality for many in urban contexts. Levels have been deemed as the underlying functioning strategy for the successful individual, gaining more notoriety as they gain private property and increasing values. This method of revenue functions as a gradation of housing typologies, disproportionately affecting already marginalized communities within the city and pulling further apart what is to be a cohesive societal functioning. Re-Stratification of limiting housing allows integration of a wider range of persons, redefining neighborhood involvement and healthy ambulatory relationships.
