"Radioactive Throats" explores global nuclear as an aural culture. It unearths the distortion of indigenous vocalities of the Marshall Islands and the ways militarisation, forced exile and gendered violence engender and perpetuate hyperlocal risk-scapes of precarious harmonies. The project was developed within the context of a semester-long collaborative effort led by Malkit Shoshan at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
