How will we live together tomorrow in the Alpine valleys? Through field research lasting several months, the project identifies the conflicts exacerbated by climate change and human activity in the Susa Valley. These include water resource management, the return of wolves, the construction of big infrastructures, and the coexistence of various productive activities. How can we raise awareness on the need to negotiate the landscape with future generations? This is how Paesaggio Prossimo developed: an educational field trip for high school students designed to engage future mountain inhabitants by offering an active, hands-on learning experience guided by a park ranger. The excursion is organized as a role-playing game: each student is assigned a different role representing a stakeholder in the mountain environment at the start of the walk, aiming to broaden perspectives and observations.

The project was developed within the context of the Master's degree in Design from ENSCI Les Ateliers in Paris.
