The author tries to raise a question: WHAT IF?: An alternative urbanism history? Skyscrapers and metropolitan urbanism are familiar urban spaces in big cities all over the world, but the urban space formed by such general planning often gives people a feeling of strangeness and alienation. Villages in the cities as urban enclaves, provide cheap and friendly living environments for migrants and show a dynamism not seen elsewhere. The village in the city is regarded as the "B-side" of the modern city in the urban sense. Multi-polis hopes to re-present the world and ignite the imagination through the spatial suggestion and critical ability of science fiction. While studying the urban space, we can question the world of the built environment and use the power of spatial narration to speculative the future of our city.
