Idiosyncratic Narratives: An Architecture of Multiplicity and Hybridised Conscious
Lam Pui Hin

Inspired by the movie, Howl's Moving Castle by Miyazaki Hayao, this project seeks to explore the concept of ‘multiplicity’ in the context of creating a new transformation logic system and methodology towards different historical and environmental conditions, thus, to illustrate through the narrative of exploring the blueprint of an imaginary world full of moving architecture 100 years from now. Architecture is reimagined as a 'self-conscious' and 'process-driven' mechanism which they will keep deconstructing and assembling by historical and cultural artefacts, spatial and natural fragments through time, as to evolve into a self-sustain ‘multiplicity system'.
