Harvester of Floating Data is an oscillating object on the river Mtkvari that explores the possibilities of alternative observations of the area, which has experienced geological changes in deep time as well as multiple cultural and political modifications. The installation uses site-specific man-made and natural materials intentionally to grasp an extended understanding of nature as a hybrid landscape in the Anthropocene. The project is part of Objects of the Encounter, a methodological framework for critical design practice to reimagine the understanding of subjectivity, aesthetics and ethics.
