During the industrial era, the school and the educational spaces developed as
a highly controlled environment to discipline and prepares pupils for success in
economy. The educational typology over the years have been reflecting society
stage of development. Early modern learning spaces were highly controlled in the design for almost two centuries without changes demonstrating the strict roles of educational system and relying on content based and teacher centred classrooms. In the educational typology the classrooms defined as enclosed overcontrolled spatial arrangement which supress the creativity adventure characteristic of a child. The design trying to break the traditional standards in educational typology by considering holistic approach in designing a kindergarten and the effect of the built environment on the young children learning and emphasizing on on self-directed knowledge.
