The Extended Forest is a virtual platform, which records and performs forestry. It aims to diversify the canon of silviculture by introducing alternative information sources and sharing it with the public through immersive theatrical tools. The project promotes a multidisciplinary approach to forest management considering the need for biodiversity and cultural necessities. The virtual world is operated by the Guardians. They are a group of artificial personalities and intelligences focusing on specific agendas. They exist as architectural elements and anthropomorphic characters. The project was developed within the context of the AA School of Architecture.
