Ego´s House
Mauro Gil-Fournier

From the book Las casas que me habitan (2022): We think that we inhabit our houses, our squares, our cities, but we only inhabit our ordinary practices. The houses that are presented here are the affections that inhabit us on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, designing becomes an act of internal and external listening. The architecture in a device to develop different affects. Houses as the spatial and material expression of our most primitive affective realities. And this book, a personal exercise with common views. A way to develop a community, kinship, an extended family with oneself and with the world. A way of inhabiting the vital practice in the experience of affecting the link with life.
