Dans Le Vide
Antonin Bohl
The title of this drawing comes from "Dans le vide je vois le monde en entier" which could be translated into "In the emptiness I can see the whole world". Drawn after a trip to Japan, it represents the author’s recollection of the chaos of Japanese cities. Like a wild forest, the city grows unplanned, untamed, an expression of new vernacular urbanism.
