The project examines the relation between healing and labour. The proposal derives from the understanding of healing as a complex process rather than an innocent act of care. Therefore it frames healing of an individual as a practice that exists in a system where the intertwined role of architecture and rituals becomes political. The proposal transforms the territory by delineation of an unproductive patch of land and intensification of the productive capacity of the surrounding landscape through provision of more effective automated systems. The contrast between productive and unproductive spaces brings attention to the work required to transform the land and the freed land has a possibility to serve as commons to those who inhabit the place.
