Ataxifolia mocks the vanity of the absolute political gestures that have the character of an utopia. It also comments on the inevitable circle of prosperity and decadence.The concept is that an imaginary group of scientists decide to create a structure to destroy an invasive species, the Caulerpa Taxifolia.The same group becomes bigger and has the belief that Caulerpa is the source of all the bad on Earth. From a scientific decision to a mechanism of power,the structure becomes now a kingdom of the same elite that in an arbitrary way is now determined to rule the world. The project received the honourable mention in the competition Amphibious Habitats launched by LOBBY magazine.
