“Arctic Cycles of Extraction and Deposit: Speculative Stories of Seeds & Coal” is a graphic novel/series of images following the growth and decay of seeds and carbon in the Arctic. It looks at the cyclical relationship between oil drilling, archives, geological deep- time and harnesses speculative imagination for a better climate future. The project was developed within the context of Harvard Graduate School of Design, Landscape Arctic Design, lead by Bert de Jonghe.
