At the beginning of the third millennium, urban population has never been higher. More and more urban citizens need to move; move themselves, move their data, and move goods around them. Meanwhile, many cities are establishing plans to reduce the use of the car, and developing new forms of mobility such as electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles or air mobility. Agora Maquina is a hyper dense city model that enables major movement and better connections, not only to the urban centers, but to the whole territory. It is set in the border that separates the city of Madrid from its suburbs, in a 500.000 square meters void caused by the railway infrastructure. The proposal covers this void with a megastructure that reconnects both sides of the neighbourhood.

The project was developed within the context of ETSAM.
