A Sanctuary for Dying Crafts offers refuge for the preservation of craftsmanship and intangible heritage in the United Kingdom. Prophesying the crafts’ decline, the sanctuary lies upon a disused churchyard beside Christ Church in Spitalfields, London, where sacred spaces pass down endangered skills through the facilitation of rituals with the hope of ensuring their future survival. The Hand-drawn plan illustrates partially drawn floor finishes to make the extrapolation of their larger pattern, seeking greater reciprocity between architect and craftsmen.
