Inspired by the Dutch model and Almería, Spain — known for its vast greenhouses — the project uses greenhouses as urban fabric to confront monocultural landscapes and address social and environmental concerns. Located in London along Thames Gateway, Dartford Creek Barrier, it tackles issues of food security, resource management, and cultural identity, while examining the conditions of greenhouse workers. Despite Almería's agricultural advancements, it faces challenges like informal contracting, social integration, unregulated housing, water depletion, and biodiversity loss. These complex issues require holistic, interdisciplinary approaches for effective solutions.
